True Peace

Each year that goes by brings me a better understanding of what I personally need to be at peace. What I thought I was getting in my 20s is way different than what I'm getting in my 30s. I equated the quantity in my life with peace. Time has revealed to me that the closer I walk with God is when I feel it the most. He gives that true quality of how it is supposed to feel. Just taking a moment to have a conversation with Him makes me feel like so much has been lifted off of me. No person, vacation destination, money or thing can take away my burdens like Jesus can. It took some time for me to really see what He is doing in my life. He is just a whole vibe that you will never get anywhere else. To be content with God is to feel ultimate satisfaction.
